Summary
THE DEEP is an immersive actual play tabletop role-playing game about a team of scientists who descend to Deepwater Plymouth, a science lab at the bottom of the ocean. The scientists learn that the previous team at the deep sea lab, had uncovered an anomalous black sphere. One of their submarines had been damaged near the Mariana Trench, and one of the construction workers was killed inside. As the new recruits begin investigating these events, they start to notice many strange things happening around the lab. This show is an easily bingeable 8 episodes. A blend of comedy and horror.

The Biologist
Claire is ready to study new creatures and to conduct studies on the effects of deep sea pressure. She isn’t too happy about having to share a laboratory with Wallace Wooten, but the sight of a long-armed squid outside the lab window gives her renewed enthusiasm for the job.

Dr. Marisha Keen
The Mechanical Engineer
Dr. Marisha Keen is the one most familiar with the deep sea diving suits. Although she has conducted many tests to ensure the durability of the suits, she has not yet been able to conduct human testing at these deep sea levels. While she has confidence in her work, the use of the suits under this much pressure is still a risk.

Wallace Wooten
The Old Man
Wallace took the job with Maldonado Pharmaceuticals as soon as he learned about the deep sea lab. His interest is to study silicon-based lifeforms, hoping to find medical uses for them. So far, his only success with them has been to turn them into glue.

Percy quickly proves to be a useful and able-bodied member of the crew, as he is one of the first to live test the deep dive suits. At the very least, he gets an “A” for effort.

The Dive Expert
Although Sidney has not yet been diving at such extreme depths, she is an expert at swimming, diving, and can perform CPR in a pinch. Every bit of medical training is invaluable for a team in isolation.

Maintenance and Fabrication
Jovial in nature, Tadgh is level-headed and has a strong constitution. He proves to be quick to risk his own life for the good of the team, and has a fondness for peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.

Despite being the butt of a lot of jokes, Sid’s knowledge goes far beyond his expertise of turbines and fluids. As the mysteries unfold in the deep sea lab, he quickly becomes an invaluable member of the team.
