Where To Listen?

How do I listen to podcasts?

Internet Browser or Podcatcher App?

Podcasts are hosted on a single podcast service and then distributed to podcatcher apps. They can often be streamed from the Internet on any web browser, such as Chrome, Firefox, or Safari, but most commonly, they are listened to by downloading a podcatcher app on your phone or tablet.

Downloading a podcatcher app

There are many podcatcher apps to choose from! Choosing one over the other is simply a matter of trying them out or doing some research. But generally, podcatcher apps have the same basic functionality. Some popular ones are:

Apple Podcasts on iOS
Google Podcasts on Android or iOS
Podbean on Android or iOS
Spotify on Windows or Android or iOS
Amazon / Audible on Windows or Android or iOS

There are many others to choose from, some of which are listed when you click on our shows.

Which show do I start with?

We recommend that you start with the show that most interests you. It’s true that listening in chronological order may allow you to get our old-reference jokes once in a while, but our newer content means higher quality production. For this reason, we suggest you simply find a show that piques your interest and start there. Here are some recommendations based on points of interest:

I Want Immersion

THE DEEP
This show offers both comedy and horror, and the production is the most immersive of all our table-top role playing shows. Sound FX, original music, and in-character reverb, gives this show a cinematic feel.

The Night Cleaner’s Tales
This show is a scripted audio drama, which means it is fully immersive, like a movie. Sound FX, original music, voices that match their environment. It is not a table-top role playing game, but it is the most immersive show we offer.

I Enjoy Characters

The Giants March
This is a Dungeons & Dragons fantasy story where the players take on the roles of 16-26 foot tall giants. The player characters are three cousins, who head south into foreign lands, to investigate a mystery. This story is filled with magic, gods, and vibrant characters who grow and develop on their journey into foreign lands.

Fillmore’s Crossing
If you want colorful characters, our Fillmore’s Crossing show is a fan favorite!
Pros:
* A deep story, with deep characters.
* Original Music
* The fantasy wild west setting is fun!

Cons:
* It was the first show we ever created
* Sound FX don’t show up until late into the show
* A couple episodes had some microphone trouble
* Some of us were still learning how to play Dungeons & Dragons

I Want Something Unique

Odyssey
The story of Odyssey is probably unlike anything you’ve heard before. It’s a sci-fi musical adventure, that blends the 80’s with aliens, concerts, action, comedy, and drama. We created entire songs for this arc, complete with original music and lyrics. Lots of hip-hop, trip-hop, and even some disco. The story has a lot going on, so we recommend people sit back and let it wash over them.

I want something short

If you want to test-drive our podcast network before you commit to a long story-line, we have some great places to start:

The Unusable Suspects
One episode. High production. Colorful characters. Great goofs. This is one of the best ways to test-drive our content.

The Hoser of Lake Nipissing
Want a trilogy? This is a fun one. Three fast-paced episodes filled with antics and ghost-hunting.

I want to listen in the order you recorded them

The best way to listen, from start to finish, in the order our shows were recorded, would be by subscribing to our Master Feed. But here is a list anyway:

(This list does not include one-shots)

  1. Fillmore’s Crossing
  2. The Hoser of Lake Nipissing
  3. Odyssey & The Night Cleaners Tales
(These were recorded and aired simultaneously)
  4. THE DEEP
  5. The Giants March
  6. Eclipse: Crater of Corruption
  7. Upcoming Call of Cthulhu Arc (This story will probably launch after The Giants March has finished its run.)
